Benchmark Construction Service

Re-architected, on a 3-developer team in 4 months, the serverless service that calculates the index benchmarks behind portfolio trading decisions.

Idempotent, order-independent ingestion with transactional batch writes, so consumers only ever see complete datasets. Built replay/redrive, dead-letter alerting, and Grafana monitoring; recovery time fell from 5+ hours to under 1 hour.

I now own its data model and design direction. It is used across all front-office applications.

Valuation Platform

Co-designed, with the senior tech lead, a Kappa-architecture platform for real-time multi-asset valuation and liquidity. It is partially in production.

I own the GraphQL API layer, and led 6 developers building the Flink stream-processing prototype.

Equity Data Lakehouse

Built event-driven ETL in Go feeding an Apache Iceberg lakehouse that handles hundreds of GB/day for 100+ analytics, quant, and ML consumers.

Owned the multi-region design tradeoff: chose active/passive S3 cross-region replication over active/active, cutting multi-region run cost by more than half.
